Cincinnati Trip

I traveled to Cincinnati over the Labor day holiday. This was my first trip to this city.
I left Saturday morning arriving in Cincinnati at the Amerisuites Blue Ash around noon. I had tickets to see the Cincinnati Reds vs. the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cardinals won 6 - 3.
Sunday morning, after a hearty breakfast at the hotel, I traveled to the Argosy Casino. Yes, I had a good day winning over $300. Woo hoo!
I left the casino around 1pm then visited Paramount Kings Island. This park was absolutely packed. There was a cheerleader competition going on. I rode several rides and saw a couple shows. It rained most of the day which put a small damper on my fun.
On Monday morning, I checked out of my room and went to the Cincinnati Zoo. This zoo is the second oldest in the US. Of course the oldest is the Philly Zoo. If you get a chance, visit this zoo. It is very large and easy to get around. They even offer a tram car to take you around the park.
Once again, I had booked my room through priceline. $40 a night and the hotel staff couldn't have been nicer. I really enjoyed my stay including sleeping in on Monday morning.
